About Us

Our Story

The Second Cut Foundation was born in 2024 from a simple idea by Adam Koscielski: to transform an annual golf trip among friends—the “Second Cut”—into a meaningful opportunity to give back. What began as a tradition of camaraderie became a platform for philanthropy and community impact.

With the support and partnership of Jaclyn Novak, Adam’s now-fiancée, and his mother, Laura Koscielski, the foundation was officially established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to charitable giving. Together, the three founders built a foundation that channels community and shared values into support for causes close to foundation's network.

The Second Cut is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation that believes we all find ourselves in the rough sometimes—and everyone could use a little help getting out. Guided by that spirit, we fund causes close to home, helping others navigate life's toughest challenges  toward purpose, strength, and peace.
